    DESCRIPTION

The Earth Beneath Our Feet Grenache 2016 is the second of the limited release options, sitting alongside the Sauvignon Blanc. It's nothing short of stunning, and mind-blowingly good value.

To summarise, there's only 746 of this single-vineyard expression. It's got 14 months on oak, 50% new and then a few more years bottle ageing. The fruit is pure and ripe and it has layers for days. All of this for just over £20 is just insane.

The wine itself has aromas of spice and red cherry, it needs time to open up though, so give it a decant for an hour. Once it's open it shows fairy floss, red berries, perfume and spice. The palate is ripe, a little warming with a nice balance of tannin and ABV. Long, long scented length too. Smooth tannins, lots of layers and complexity.
