Schloss Vollrads Volratz Riesling Trocken 2020. This expression coming from the small but historic Rheingau. Schloss Vollards has been making wine since the 13th century, which is just crazy to comprehend.
They produced the first Kabinett in 1700 and continues to produce top-level wine today. We know German wine terminology can be complex and confusing, but basically, this is a dry Riesling. Ripe but delicate and expressive, pretty much what the Rheingau is famous for.
The wine is pristine and star bright, super aromatic and fragrant. Loads of apricots, blossom and zest. The palate is dry and rich, with a scented length.
