Chardonnay accounts for just 2% of grapes grown in Beaujolais, so we're so happy to get our hands on a few cases of this tremendous value white from the region. Similar in style to a Burgundy, and arguably better value for money, with a touch more freshness than whites from its neighbour.
Founded in 1956, Julien Bertrand is the current incumbent of this highly reputable estate in Charentay - in the heart of Beaujolais. Operating across four of the ten 'crus' regions within Beaujolais (Brouilly, Fleurie, Juliénas and Moulin-à-Vent), every wine they produce is highly unique and reflective of their terroir and vintage.
