A very "under the radar" grape, Falanghina is a bit of an all-rounder really! Semi-aromatic, exuding ripe fruit aromas, but with good acidity to retain freshness. This wine also underwent some lees contact, adding texture and roundness.
The name Vesevo is the historic name for Vesuvius. The vineyards are located in the Irpinian hills of Campania, potentially one of Italy's most exciting wine producing areas. Despite being so far south, there are large differences here between day and night temperatures, owing to the vines sitting at 400-600m altitude, making the harvest here one of the latest in Italy.
