Merlot from a couple of Bordeaux AOP parcels, aged in old oak. Full biodynamic production, but with the unmistakeable classic Bordeaux Merlot style of intense fruit and warming spice.

The Millaire domain all started back in 1950, when Jean-Garnier bought up a few small parcels doted around right-bank Bordeaux. Since 1998, grandson Jean-Yves has headed things up, now expertly accompanied by his daughter Christine, operating across the AOPs of Fronsac, Canon Fronsac and Bordeaux.
