Finca Casa Balaguer are a small family-run winery in Alicante. They focus solely on local varieties and organic winemaking practices.

Monastrell is often a big and intense grape, but here they manage to achieve a wine of finesse and freshness, which is nigh-on impossible given the temperatures they endure during the growing season down in the south of Spain, yet still with Monastrell's characteristic dark fruit, spiciness and full body. Enjoy this over a BBQ, with any variety of red meat or charred veg.
