Res Fortes is a young and fresh producer, providing easy drinking, fantastic wines straight out of Maury, France. The fascination with the world of wine for Moritz Bak – founder of Res Fortes - began in the South of France with childhood summers with his wine-loving grandfather.
Devoting himself to the study of wine and winemaking, he made pilgrimages to some of the world’s greatest vineyards, and when he was ready to venture out on his own, he returned to the south of France armed with both a grand wealth of knowledge and a huge vision.
Having carefully selected and nurtured his vines, he produced his first vintage in 2014. As well as the wines themselves, Res Fortes’ elegant bottles and label design prove that the most modern and sophisticated drinking experience can grow from the toughest terrain.
This wine won 2017 bronze medal winner of the prestigious San Francisco International Wine Competition! You gotta get yourself a couple!
