Jules Taylor Sauvignon Blanc 2019 is a truly perfect example of Kiwi Sauv. Family owned and operated, vegan friendly and most importantly, not made for market! The grapes come off of a mix of vineyards. Being, Taylor Pass, Awatere & Omaka Valleys, Lower Wairau & Hawkesbury. This is important as a mix of vineyards help maintain consistency and overall quality.
Each block is individually harvested when the grapes hit optimal ripeness. Then gently pressed then transferred into stainless steel tanks. Cool fermentation to keep the varietal aromas and then a little bit of lees ageing for added texture and mouthfeel.
Jules Taylor Sauvignon Blanc has loads of aromatics, which is loaded with tropical and citrus fruit. Lots of passionfruit, mango and lemon. The palate is bone dry but with the same explosive fruit. Juicy and pure, crisp and fresh. Super tasty and a perfect match with seafood or fragrant salads.
