Delicate and perfumed but thanks to a warmer vintage, a Pinot with a nice grip and a touch of spice from oak ageing. Absolutely stunning value - finding good quality village-level Burgundy, such as Auxey-Duresses at around the £30 mark nowadays is tough!
A domaine where history and the new wave of winemaking perfectly coalesce. Now into the 8th generation, working over just 9ha across the Côte de Beaune, with the cellar in Pommard, it is Alexandre who has taken the reins in recent years. Intervening as little as possible, he is crafting white wines of impeccable depth and complexity, and pinots of sheer elegance and concentration.
