Gros Manseng gives off very fruity whites - it is often used for dessert wines due to this character. But fear not, the wine here is still dry, but definitely for those who err away from high acid, minerally wines.
Domaine d'Arton - a vineyard of 88 hectares was rebuilt by the Montal-Montesquiou family in the early 1990s. The domaine has adopted environmentally friendly practices allowing the vines to build up natural defences, and hence herbicide sprays are never utilised. This has enabled Domaine d'Arton to attain the HVE level 3 environment certificate and the wines were certified 100% Bio from 2024.
