This little known Spanish varietal has a big future ahead of it. Often found in Cava Rosé blends but on its own Trepat produces fresh, medium-bodied wines with wonderful acidity.
After a careful manual harvest the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks before being transferred to oak barrels for aging. The resulting wine contains spiced notes of black pepper and aromatic herbs (thyme, rosemary) on the nose. A very balanced palate leading to a powerful, fresh and balsamic finish.
