Incredibly elegant and smooth left bank Bordeaux blend. A great vintage in 2020, warm and dry, that is already drinking phenomenally well, but will also reward those willing to store a few away for some years.
The first bottling from Château Petit Bocq came in 1972, when the Lagneaux family were working just 2ha. For a left bank Bordeaux, opting for a higher percentage of Merlot over Cabernet Sauvignon was rare, but this gives each of their wines a freshness and drinkability in their youth that isn't always present for this region.
