L'Autre Blanc = The Other White. Possibly lazy naming, but far from lazy when it comes to the winemaking. Just 6,000 bottles of this Macabeu-Muscat blend. Quite round and medium-bodied, with a distinctive floral finish from the Muscat.

The Château Montana vineyards are nestled between the sea and the mountains, on sunny terraces. Growing grapes in this heat is no mean feat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to ensure they don't overripen (losing their acidity and becoming way too boozy), but the Jonquères d'Oriola family do a stellar job at producing wines of great precision and tension, with that characteristic southern French warmth to them still.
