The Earth Beneath Our Feet Pinotage 2016 comes exclusively from Piekenierskloof. The vines are nearly 50 years old, providing excellent concentration of fruit. Altitude of 750m allows for cooler nights and a steadier growing season so the grapes find a beautiful balance in their maturation.

This can definitely do with an hour in a decanter. Lots of wild berries, and some clove and tobacco thanks to oak ageing.
