Anderson Hill Wheely Good Pinot Noir 2017. Located in one of the only two sub-regions in the Adelaide Hills, Lenswood. This Pinot is seriously good. Let's start with the region. Lenswood sits at 660m above sea level. It's the highest set of vineyards in South Australia. Pinot Noir vines were planted in the 1990s and are just coming into their prime. Consistently delivering quality fruit perfect for red wine and rosé.
This Wheely Good Pinot is super light in colour, presenting a more light ruby tone. It's crazy aromatic, with bright fresh red cherry, bacon fat and spice. The palate is warming and smooth, with the same cherry profile shining through but with a lick of oak on the finish. Easy to drink, long in length limited in stock.
