Wonderfully crafted small-batch wine, made from a blend of several Portuguese red grapes. Brimming with fruit, soft tannins and great length, this is endlessly drinkable.
Casa Ferreirinha have been at the forefront of non-fortified wines in the Douro. With the region being so well-known for its Port, it is only in recent decades that still reds have started coming to the fore. The winemaking here has been led by Luís Sottomayor since 1989, and continues to go from strength to strength all these years later.
